The Fort Scratchley Historical Society is a non-profit organisation and is supported by dedicated members from the general public.

From this membership, a Committee is nominated and elected each year at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). This Committee is responsible for the ongoing smooth operation of the Fort Scratchley Historical Society.

The general upkeep and running of the Fort is done by the tireless effort of the voluntary contribution supplied by the Committee and regular members of the organisation.

At Fort Scratchley we are always seeking new members to join our organisation.

As a member you will be entitled to:

  • Vote at the AGM,
  • Receive our official quarterly newsletter "Muzzle Blast,"
  • You and a guest are invited to attend the annual membership Christmas dinner,
  • Make new friends and learn more about the fort,
  • Participate during our open days, e.g. man & fire the guns, become a Guide or help in the kiosk,
  • Become involved with the maintenance and upkeep of the Fort and / or/Museum and its collection.
